Seventh Generation Skin Boosts + Giveaway!

We were really excited when we were contacted by Seventh Generation to try out their brand new launch into skincare with their new Skin Boost Serums.  There are six all-natural oils available, designed for specific skin needs:  Soothing, Revitalizing, Protecting, Hydrating, Clearing and Firming.  Emily and I chose to try out the Soothing blend with oat extract,  and the Protecting blend with prickly pear.  These oils are intended to either replace your moisturizer, or go on underneath/mixed in with your normal moisturizer, depending on your skin’s needs.  I find that during these summer months, my skin is perfectly moisturized with the hydrating oils all by themselves, plus they absorb into the skin immediately–meaning you don’t have to wait forever before applying sunscreen or foundation.  But perhaps when winter comes along, they’ll need to be layered under a heavier duty cream.

We both fell immediately in love with the lovely, zingy lemongrass scent of the Protecting Boost.  I want to apply it to my entire body!  The Soothing Boost has a very subtle, well, soothing, scent!  If you are unsure which oil would be best for you, take their fun, short quiz to find your recommended boost.  We both enjoyed the two we tried and are anxious to test out the others.  Emily also had a lot of success with adding a pump of the oil into her face cleanser to help take her makeup off.  She said it did a great job at removing her eye makeup!
